Memory Bear

Let me turn your cherished items of clothing into a unique, huggable sized bear that can be treasured for many years to come. Each item of clothing that you provide will be carefully cut to make up each part of the bear however if you have a preference for the placement, I will be more than happy to take your ideas and incorporate them into the overall design.

I also offer the option of free personalisation on the foot pads using iron on vinyl lettering. If ordering a school bear, these could be for example the name of your child on the left foot and the years they attended the school on the right. You can also choose to have no personalisation.

How Does It Work?

Step 1 - Enter your personalisation (if required) into the boxes above.

Step 2 - Click Add to Cart and go through to payment.

Step 3 - You will immediately receive a confirmation email. Please get in touch via e-mail at akhmiles@hotmail.co.uk to either arrange the drop off of the clothing or posting of the items to my studio.

Step 4 - Once your clothing items are received, your memory bear keepsake will be created with the greatest care and sent back to you within the estimated turnaround time.

Required Clothing:

• Up to 4 items of school uniform e.g. a jumper, pair of trousers/skirt, summer dress, polo top, pe top or just 2 jumpers if you'd like it to be all one colour.
• 6-8 baby grows (3-6 months size or larger) or if your baby clothes are 0-3 months size please send 8-10 items

OR

• 1+ pieces of adult clothing (I can make a bear from 1 adult shirt, however you can send more if you would like pattern variation throughout the keepsake) please note I cannot use long haired fur or real/faux leather fabrics. 

My memory bears sit at 30cm tall, have sparkly safety eyes fitted and a hand sewn nose and mouth. Inside they are filled with 100% polyester hollow fiber.

Please note that my memory bears are not meant to withstand rough play, they are really for display.  I use plastic safety eyes, although these could still be pulled out by a young child.  My keepsakes are meant to be admired, or cuddled occasionally, as you remember your loved one or precious personal memories.
