"Before deciding to take up sewing full time, I was a primary school teacher for 13 years. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to combine 2 of my passions (sewing and teaching) on an almost daily basis at the shop. Absolute beginners are very welcome to join in any of my sessions as well as those looking to try something new whilst developing their existing skills. My children's after school sessions are particularly popular where I use my students' interests to develop a fun and engaging sequence of lessons. I've recently started offering sewing parties too!     These are held during the week between the hours of 9.30 and 3 Monday-Thursday and at the weekend on request (preferably in the morning before 12)

  • Children's After School Clubs

    Monday: 4-5.30 FULL

    Tuesday 4-5.30 FULL

    Wednesday 4-5.30 FULL

    Thursday 4-5.30 FULL

    Thursday 5.45-7.15 FULL

    Friday 5-6.30 FULL

  • Adult Sewcial Clubs

    A weekly club where the projects are based on the interest of the group e.g. dungarees, dresses, slippers, bags etc The cost covers tuition and machine rental, materials and fabrics are an additional cost

    Monday 6.30-8.30 SPACES AVILABLE

    Friday 10.30-12.30 SPACES AVAILABLE

  • Birthday Parties

    My sewing parties are really growing in popularity with bookings  often being made months in advance. I can cater for up to 7 children aged 6+ at the studio and am happy to base the sewing project on a theme. Some previous parties have included sewing: teddy bears, tote bags, donut cushions, tote bags, bunting, hand sewn flowers and Christmas tree decorations.


    Parties slots are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings during term time and in the week during school holidays providing no other clubs are running that day.
