What an action packed summer I have planned for you! Not only can you book your little one on to a workshop, but there are also some opportunities for you to get in on the sewing action! On the timetable, the children's workshops are coloured in red and the adult ones are green.
All of the workshops, including the adult ones, are beginner friendly and suitable for ages 6+ (children's workshops) and 16+ (adult workshops)

Wednesday 23rd July: How To Sew Your Dragon. Have you ever drawn with thread? In this workshop, your little one will learn the brilliant skill of free motion embroidery as they bring their very own dragon to life using metallic fabrics and thread. They'll come away with a framed picture to display proudly at home. £25pp
Thursday 24th July: Mine Crafts. Back due to popular demand for those who couldn't make the last half term sessions. Make a cube and flag based on your favourite square characters. £25pp
Saturday 26th July: Introduction to sewing for ages 16+ Learn all of the basics from threading to winding a bobbin as well as some common trouble shooting points. At the end of the session you will come away with your very own tote bag. £25pp
Sunday 27th July: Sew an easy to wear pinafore dress. Learn how to make your own pinafore from start to finish. Price includes tuition, pattern and trims. You will need to bring your own fabric (2-2.5m size dependent). £45pp
Thursday 31st July: Seams Like Summer Full Day workshop. Join me for a full day of summer sewing fun featuring a fruity travel pillow, ice cream t-shirt, pocket kite and a fruit slice pouch. All materials included. Drinks and snacks will be provided but children will need to bring their own packed lunch. £70pp
Friday 1st August: Seams Like Summer. As above. £70pp
Wednesday 13th August: Let's go sew a kite! In this 2hr workshop, your child will make their own kite from brightly coloured, waterproof fabrics. Just perfect for flying on the beach this summer and beyond. £25pp

Saturday 16th August: Sew a Wrap Dress. Learn how to make your very own wrap dress from start to finish. In this all day workshop you will learn how to read and use a pattern, cut out your fabric and sew it together using a combination of regular and overlocker sewing machines. The price includes tuition, machine hire and printed pattern. You will need to bring your own fabric (3-4m required depending on size and style) £60pp
